
Industry. Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed bin Rashid Alzayani paid a visit this evening to the Mall of Dilmunia, being constructed in Dilmunia island in the Governorate of Muharraq.
The minister was accompanied by Dilmunia Mall Development Company Chairman Shaikh Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa, Chief Executive Officer Shaikh Mohammed bin Duaij Al-Khalifa and other officials and board members.

The minister was briefed about the project, the first of its kind in the region, including plans to set up four entertainment centres, among which a seventeen-metre-high cylindrical aquarium with aquatic life that will mesmerize visitors from each level of the mall and a state-of-the-art large indoor Ice Rink built on the first floor of the mall.
He stressed the importance of the innovative project which, he said, will contribute to support the economic development, spurring growth and promoting the tourism sector in particular. He stressed Bahrain’s ability to host such projects, stressing the pivotal role of the private sector in supporting the national economy and spearheading value added projects that keep abreast of global trends.

Dilmunia Mall Development Company Chairman Shaikh Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa appreciated the minister’s visit to the project and continuous support to the private sector.
Chief Executive Officer Shaikh Mohammed bin Duaij Al-Khalifa also praised the ministry’s support to such development projects which contribute to bolstering the sector of family tourism and entertainment.
